Everything seems to be functioning fine but when streaming or watching their recording, it starts dropping frames and faltering (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8). OBS ‘lag or frame drops’ due to an encoding bug. The OBS ‘lag or frame drops’ issue seems to have arisen because of an encoding bug on OBS Studio.

FPS and frames (rendering and encoding, NOT INTERNET) dropping suddenly during transmission. The title is self-explanatory. The problem happens suddenly, after approximately 30min/1h30min of transmission, and, sometimes, it "corrects" itself. It usually lasts more than half an hour.

Turns out that having it saved on the directory drive was causing the majority of the issues (assuming that the C drive SSD was being overworked). THE FIX: I changed the path to my secondary SSD drive (on the D drive). This fixed my issue and in fact, I am able to record at an even better quality than before!
